This Privacy Policy describes the policies and practices of NeexkartX Development ("Developer", "we", "our") in collaboration with Gyan Kamal Jatiya Bidyalay ("School", "Institution") regarding the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal and sensitive user data through the Android mobile application Gyan Kamal Parents (Application ID: in.gyankamalbidyalay.parents) and its associated student portal hosted at gyankamalbidyalay.in.

This policy applies to all users (parents, legal guardians, and school authorities) accessing or using the Gyan Kamal Parents mobile application or related digital services. By downloading, installing, or using the application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Scope & Target Audience

The Gyan Kamal Parents application is an educational communication and student record management platform designed specifically for parents and legal guardians of students enrolled at Gyan Kamal Jatiya Bidyalay. The app provides parents with real-time access to their child's academic progress, attendance records, school circulars, examination marks, and fee payment history.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide educational administration, secure authentication, and communication between parents and the school:

A. Student & Guardian Personal Information

• Student Identification: Student Full Name, Admission/Enrollment Number, Class, Section, Roll Number, Date of Birth.
• Guardian Contact Details: Father's/Mother's name, registered guardian mobile phone number, email address, and home address.
• Academic & Attendance Records: Daily student attendance status (Present, Absent, Leave), examination scores, report cards, class routines, and homework notices.
• Fee Records: Due amounts, fee receipt numbers, transaction reference IDs, and payment breakdown history.

B. Device & Technical Information

• Device Identifiers & Push Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration tokens used exclusively to route real-time notices, emergency school alerts, and attendance notifications to your device.
• Technical Diagnostics: Device manufacturer, OS version, and network connectivity state (Wi-Fi/Cellular) to diagnose connection errors and present offline alerts.

3. Android Permissions & Purpose (Data Safety Disclosure)

To provide core application functionality, Gyan Kamal Parents requests the following Android permissions:

External UPI Payment Queries

The application queries installed UPI payment apps (phonepe, tez/Google Pay, paytmmp, bhim) solely to facilitate optional online fee payments directly from the parent to the school's bank account. The application does NOT collect, handle, or store any sensitive banking credentials, UPI PINs, passwords, or credit/debit card numbers. All payment processing occurs securely inside your respective third-party bank/UPI application.

4. How We Use Collected Data

We use the data collected strictly for legitimate educational and institutional purposes: - Authenticating parent access to their registered child's student dashboard. - Delivering daily attendance updates, exam results, and academic performance cards. - Distributing emergency school holiday alerts, event announcements, and administrative notices. - Issuing official, verifiable digital school fee receipts. - Providing technical assistance, preventing unauthorized access, and maintaining portal security.

5. Data Sharing & Third-Party SDKs

We do NOT sell, rent, lease, or monetize personal user data or student records to any third-party advertisers or commercial entities.

Data is shared solely with trusted service providers essential for app operation: - Google Play Services: Core platform support and security integrity (Google Privacy Policy). - Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: Secure push notification dispatch (Firebase Privacy Policy). - Authorized School Staff: Strictly authorized administrative staff, teachers, and principals of Gyan Kamal Jatiya Bidyalay. - Legal Mandates: Where required by law, regulation, judicial decree, or competent educational oversight authorities.

6. Children’s Privacy & Family Policy Compliance

The Gyan Kamal Parents application displays educational information concerning minor students. However, the app is strictly designed for and operated by adults (parents, legal guardians, and school teachers/staff). We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental/school consent. All student profiles shown in the app are pre-registered through the school's official offline admission process with parent authorization.

7. Data Security & Encryption

We maintain industry-standard security safeguards to protect user and student data: - All data transmissions between the Gyan Kamal Parents app and our servers are encrypted using modern SSL/TLS (HTTPS) 256-bit encryption. - Access to the student portal database is restricted via role-based access control and strict firewall protections.

8. Data Retention & Account / Data Deletion Policy

Academic and admission records are maintained throughout the student's enrollment period at Gyan Kamal Jatiya Bidyalay and as required by educational board regulations.

Account & Personal Data Deletion Mechanism

In accordance with Google Play's User Data & Deletion Policy, parents and guardians have the right to request deletion of their mobile app login credentials, contact data, and digital account access at any time.

Provide the following verification details: - Student Name and Admission Number - Class and Section - Registered Parent Contact Number

Processing Time: Upon receipt and identity verification, we will deactivate digital app access and delete parent contact information, device tokens, and stored login credentials within 30 business days. (Note: Student permanent academic transcripts and fee audit receipts will be archived in accordance with mandatory state educational retention laws).

9. Policy Updates

We may modify this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our legal obligations or application enhancements. Any revisions will be published on the official URL with an updated "Last Updated" date.
